The Modern Socratic Method is often constrained to a predesigned set of questions that are known to generate a range of predictable answers and elicit knowable facts. This method can be used to good effect for leading a person to work out their own understanding of static knowledge such as mathematics. teaching methods are often research-driven, twenty-two research methods are outlined in this chapter.
